在博客上称星巴克开进故宫是对中国传统文化的糟蹋,要求其迁出

本报讯(记者杨万国)在故宫一座古色古香的大殿一角,知名咖啡店星巴克在这里开了6年。近日,央视英语主播芮成钢在其博客上发出抗议,认为“故宫里的星巴克”是对中国传统文化的糟蹋,并以个人名义向星巴克总裁发出抗议书,要求星巴克从故宫里搬出去。昨日,芮成钢告诉记者,博客贴出后,点击量陡增50万,许多网友表示支持。不过星巴克方面尚无表态。
“故宫星巴克成西方笑柄”
芮成钢介绍,几年前他陪同美国的几位友人到故宫参观,当看到故宫内的星巴克时,外国友人哑然失笑,“我当时也觉得挺尴尬的,星巴克怎么开到了这样神圣的地方”。
芮成钢称,因为工作的缘故,他采访了全球300多个跨国公司总裁,包括比尔·盖茨等人,他了解到,“故宫里的星巴克”已经在西方上层社会传为笑柄,“许多西方知名人士也认为这是对中国文化的不尊重”。
去年,芮成钢在耶鲁大学的一次全美CEO峰会上,正好遇到星巴克的新任CEO兼总裁吉姆·当诺,芮成钢当场在公开演讲中提议,“我不知道星巴克是否有在印度的泰姬陵,法国的凡尔赛,英国的白金汉宫开分店的计划,但是请星巴克先把在中国故宫里的店撤掉”,当时现场一片爆笑。随后吉姆私下称,这是前任总裁做的,需要回去和同事们商量,但四个月过去了仍然不见动静。
芮成钢介绍,他前几天又给吉姆发去两封信,前天收到了回复。吉姆回信中称,6年前是在故宫主动邀请下,星巴克才把咖啡店开到故宫里。吉姆表示在解决这件事之前,星巴克故宫店会尽量和周围的环境相融合,来保护中国的文化。据称,此前星巴克故宫店已经摘掉了外面的大招牌。
“未收到星巴克正式表态”
芮成钢介绍,星巴克饮品在美国4美元就可以买一大杯,“相当于在中国花4块人民币就可以买一杯饮料的店子”。在西方人的普遍观念中,星巴克是“不登大雅之堂的饮食文化的代表符号”。
“故宫是中国几千年最辉煌文化的载体,就是中国的象征”,芮成钢说,把星巴克开在故宫里面,是对中国传统文化的糟蹋。
芮成钢介绍,目前其博客点击量暴增50万,很多网友表示声援。他还没有收到星巴克方面的正式表态。他称,准备再给星巴克总裁写一封信,敦促他们“如果星巴克主动从故宫撤走,不仅将得到中国人腰包内更多的人民币,也将得到中国人更多的尊重”。

Jim, how are you doing? I'm the Chinese anchorman you met last year at the Yale CEO Summit. We talked about why Starbucksshould move its shopout of the Forbidden City. And I really appreciated it when you told me you yourself were not in favor of that. Am curious to know if you have a plan to have it removed. It's still there.
